Anti-Ageing Medicine

Dr. Angelique has had the unique privilege of being mentored by internationally acclaimed Aesthetic Doctors, one being an internationally renowned plastic surgeon that is a sought after trainer and lectures all around the world. Aesthetics is a very individualised specialty and the aim is for a NATURAL but enhanced appearance.

Dr. Angelique's approach to Aesthetic Medicine is very unique. First she conducts a thorough and very in-depth assessment and then designs a treatment plan before treating patients. Natural looking beauty are the priority over merely having less wrinkles.

1. Botulinum Toxin

Is a protein made from the bacteria Clostridium botulinum. It was first approved by the US FDA in 1989 to treat eye conditions such as strabismus (squinting). Now, it has the approval to treat conditions from head to toe, such as: Chronic headaches, Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) to ankle spasticity. It is available in tiny units and only administered by carefully trained and licensed medical professionals.

Botulinum Toxin is one of Dr. Angelique's favourite treatments to do because she takes a very individualised approach to each face. Often she'll treat new patients in stages, giving a lower dose and having them come back after two weeks to see how their face has responded and which areas require a little more help. She carefully charts these treatments to get the optimal result and treatment plan for their future visits.

The goal is not to produce a motionless face but, rather, to achieve a refreshed relaxed appearance. When a person looks angry, tired, or worried, they send out negative signals to the people they encounter. In return, those people subconsciously engage with them on that level. Dr. Angelique's aim is to eradicate these negative signals and produce a more youthful, relaxed, and smooth result.

Botox Treatments for:

  • Face wrinkles
  • Masseter for Bruxism (grinding teeth)
  • Platysmas Bands (neck bands)
  • Chronic Headache
  • Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)

2. Dermal Fillers, Hybrid Fillers & Bio-tissue Remodelling injections

Being trained by some of the best Plastic Surgeons in the country, has given Dr. Angelique a detailed understanding of both male and female facial aesthetic anatomy. It has given her the ability, through fine-tuning, to achieve natural looking and harmonious results with facial rejuvenation and profile-balancing.

These injectables are a non-surgical way to achieve a more youthful and/or more symmetrical appearance.
A few things happen in your face as you age, such as loss of; bone, fat, and skin quality. Fortunately, scientist have developed a range of injectables to treat these signs of ageing.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) based fillers are a popular option because it is a naturally occurring substance in the body, providing lubrication to joints, skin, and connective tissue. When carefully injected it can give volume to the face and nutrients to the skin to enhance moisture retention; giving the skin a more plump appearance. A special type of HA can also be injected into the knee joint to elevate certain types of knee pain.

Hybrid fillers such as HarmonyCA combine HA and Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA) providing a dual effect; the cross-linked HA gel has the ability to create volume and an immediate lifting effect, and the CaHA microspheres works deep within the dermis to form a scaffolding for internal growth of fibroblasts: producing lasting collagen stimulation, and inducing remodelling of the extracellular matrix.

Profhilo Bio-tissue Remodelling injections boost and hydrate the skin, remodelling ageing and sagging tissue. The most common treatment areas include the face and neck but can be used on the décolletage, hands, arms, knees, and abdomen to name but a few areas where skin laxity may be found.

3. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP treatments aim to increase the self-healing ability of the human body through the effects of high concentration autologous growth factors administered to the tissue. PRP is a non-invasive treatment that uses the patient's own blood, which is processed to concentrate the platelets, and then re-injected into the skin to promote healing and rejuvenation.

PRP has been used for many years, previously most commonly with orthopaedic surgeons injecting it into injured professional sports players to enhance healing. Now, it is more commonly used in the field of Aesthetic Medicine (such as the Vampire Facial, made popular by the Kardashians).

Prominent biohackers have been utilising PRP for anti-aging purposes. Notable biohackers such as Dave Asprey, Tim Ferriss, Ben Greenfield, and Chris Mirabile have openly discussed their experiences with PRP and how it has helped them achieve a youthful appearance and improve their overall health. The use of PRP in biohacking circles has gained popularity as it offers a natural, low-risk option for those seeking to turn back the clock on ageing.

It entails drawing a person’s blood, spinning it in a centrifuge which causes the red cells to settle at the bottom of the tube. The ‘liquid gold’ plasma at the top is where the magic happens; this is the part that has the platelets, growth factors, and incredible chemical messengers that promote healing and rejuvenation. This ‘liquid gold’ plasma is then carefully injected back into the person in the desired treatment area. In this way, increasing the self-healing ability of the human body. PRP activates fibroblasts to produce collagen and glycosaminoglycans such as Hyaluronic Acid, and can help nerve regeneration.

The PRP treatments I offer include:

Joint Health

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a cutting-edge regenerative treatment that utilises the healing power of your body's own platelets. Extracted from a small sample of your blood, PRP is a concentrated solution rich in growth factors and bioactive proteins, which play a crucial role in tissue repair and regeneration.
When injected into the affected knee joint, PRP stimulates the body’s natural healing process. The growth factors in PRP activate cell proliferation, promote collagen synthesis, and contribute to angiogenesis - the formation of new blood vessels. These mechanisms work together to rejuvenate the knee joint by reducing inflammation, improving tissue integrity and enhancing overall joint function.
We believe in optimising the healing potential of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy by integrating it with cutting-edge peptides. When coupled with PRP, these peptides complement the regenerative effects, promoting an even more robust healing response.

Facial Rejuvenation (The non-surgical Facelift)
It is often referred to as a ‘Vampire Facial’ because it involves drawing your own blood. Some of the many benefits include:

  • Increased collagen production
  • Reduced fine lines and wrinkles
  • Tighter and firmer skin
  • Improved skin texture and tone
  • Improved hydration

Hair Rejuvenation
Rediscover Your Confidence with PRP Hair Rejuvenation, where science meets beauty to restore and revitalise your crowning glory. If you're looking for a natural and effective solution to combat hair loss, PRP therapy might be the key to unlocking a fuller, thicker mane.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy for hair rejuvenation is an innovative non-surgical procedure designed to stimulate hair growth and enhance the overall health of your scalp. Using a concentrated solution derived from your own blood, PRP is rich in growth factors and nutrients that promote hair follicle activity.
When PRP is carefully injected into the scalp, it works to stimulate dormant hair follicles, promote blood circulation, and encourage the growth phase of existing hair. The growth factors in PRP activate cellular processes that contribute to hair regeneration, resulting in thicker, healthier strands.
Benefits of PRP Hair Rejuvenation:
Natural Hair Restoration: PRP harnesses your body's own healing power to stimulate natural hair growth.
Reduced Hair Loss: Patients often experience a reduction in hair shedding and increased hair thickness
Non-Invasive: PRP is a non-surgical procedure with minimal discomfort and no downtime.
Customised Treatment: Our approach is personalised to address your unique hair concerns and goals.

Female & Male Intimate (Sexual) Health & Vaginal Rejuvenation

PRP for sexual health can be performed on males and females as one of the treatments to help improve sexual health. Often it is referred to as the P(enis)-Shot for men, and the O(rgasm)-Shot for women; their aim is to improve sexual function and pleasure.

So much emphasis is placed on maintaining the quality of the skin on our face and it is hardly known that the quality of the tissue of the intimate area requires T.L.C too, especially for women. For females; childbirth, menopause, chemotherapy, and the natural ageing process can decrease sexual wellness. Resulting in the loss of lubrication, sensation, enjoyment, and even lead to urinary stress incontinence, vaginal thrush, and urinary tract infections - due to Vaginal Atrophy. Vaginal Atrophy and the accompanying symptoms is referred to as the: Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM). It’s a little known fact that GSM can be addressed by treatments such as PRP. I’ve had the privilege of being trained by the President of the World Association for Sexual Health in these treatment.

4. Skin Glow / Collagen Booster IV Drip

Intravenous vitamin and mineral therapy delivers nutrients directly into the blood stream, increasing the bioavailability of the nutrients.
My signature Skin Glow drip includes vitamin C which helps the body form and maintain connective tissue, bone, skin, and blood vessels, it helps boost collagen production, reduce pigmentation, fight fine lines and wrinkles, antioxidant, aids in wound healing, anti-inflammatory, endothelial restoring, and helps the immune system function properly. It also has Glutathione which is a powerful antioxidant and anti-toxin. It promotes healthy skin, increases skin elasticity, and decreases pigmentation. The Selenium helps ensure the skin stays firm and protected, it stops free radicle damage and helps protect cells against UV damage; preventing fine lines and wrinkles.

Coming soon: Lipo-filling / Lipo-modeling / Fat-grafting

Macro, Micro, and NANO Fat Grafting: Fat-grafting is a fat transfer procedure that uses a very thin injection cannula to smooth out wrinkles, restore youthful contours, and improve skin quality on the face.
